World Beef Expo to Payout Larger Premiums in '17

In celebration of its 25th anniversary this year, World Beef Expo announced that championship premiums will be higher in 2017. Over $25,000 in cash premiums will be awarded during the September 22-24 cattle show at the Wisconsin State Fair Park near Milwaukee.
The top animals in both the open show and the junior show will earn $2,500 for their winning efforts. Reserve champion animals will receive a payout of $2,000.
Show organizers say over 400 exhibitors from 16 states exhibited during last year's event, with over 1,200 entries in the open and junior show.
World Beef Expo also offers a variety of educational opportunities, youth sweepstakes and showmanship contest, a multi-breed sale, a trade show and more.
