BNSF Railway Grain Cars Derail at Ulen, Minnesota

BNSF Railway reports that five-grain cars derailed early Monday on a branch line in Ulen, northeast of Moorhead.
Railway spokeswoman Amy McBeth tells KFGO News, the wheels came off the rails. Most of the cars remained upright but did spill grain. No one was injured.
Crews have been on the scene since shortly after the derailment was reported after midnight, to get the cars they can get back on the rails and clean-up the grain that was spilled.
There were 114-grain cars on the train. All were fully loaded. The derailment is along Highway 32, near the West Central Ag elevator.
The cause is under investigation.
