McFarlane Mfg to Auction Tillage Tool to Benefit Honor Flight

The Sauk City-based McFarlane Mfg. Co. is selling one of its INCITE 5000 Series Universal Tillage Tools via online auction as a way to support a local Honor Flight program.
Coordinators say the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Sauk Prairie Operation Eagles' Wings Heroes for Honor Program, which is taking a group of veterans to Washington, D.C. on September 26 to see the memorials built in their honor.
McFarlane's factory personnel donated their time to make the implement. Supplier donations and cash contributions from employees, customers and other contacts also helped offset the manufacturing costs.
The Incite will be on display at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa this week, and is being sold to the highest bidder on AuctionTime.com around noon on August 31.
