WFBF Seeking Ag in the Classroom Coordinator

The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation is in the process of looking for a new individual to serve as coordinator for the Agriculture in the Classroom program.

The purpose of the position is to develop and promote educational resources for teachers and students. They will also serve as Wisconsin's AITC contact person with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and maintain involvement with the National AITC Organization.

Applicants must have a degree or related work experience in an educational field that will help build an effective statewide Ag in the Classroom program. Other requirements include outstanding oral and written communication skills, the ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and leadership styles, experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, desktop publishing software, and various social media tools.

Candidates should possess a basic understanding of the Farm Bureau organization and an agricultural background is preferred.
