Badger Swine Symposium Slated for November 9
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 10/10/2018
The University of Wisconsin-Extension Swine Team, along with the Wisconsin Pork Association, are inviting pork producers and industry professionals from across the state to the annual Badger Swine Symposium. The program takes place November 9 at the
Arlington Ag Research Station.
Organizers say the meeting will include a number of state and national speakers on important topics impacting the pork industry, including updates on the swine health rule, heat-induced infertility in boars, CRISPR gene editing and using big data analysis for
management decisions. There will also be a tour of the UW Feed Mill for those interested.
Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the program will kick off at 9:30 a.m. The program will be free to attend, and lunch will be included with support from the Pork Check-Off funds.
