No Injuries Reported in Silo Explosion at Badger State Ethanol
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 10/11/2018
First responders say none of the eight workers on duty at an ethanol facility in Monroe were hurt when a grain silo exploded on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, the incident happened around 6 a.m. at Badger State Ethanol.
Company CEO Erik Huschitt says the plant was immediately closed down for the rest of the day for safety reasons.
Crews are investigating what caused the explosion.
