Discovery Farms Conference Slated for December

The University of Wisconsin Discovery Farms will host its 8th annual conference at the Glacier Canyon Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells this fall. The December 11 forum is geared towards farmers and emphasizes strategies that work on farms and for
water quality.
Organizers say the conference will bring together farmers, farm advisors and experts to apply science and experience to today's hot topics. All in attendance can expect to leave with new ideas and practical tips that can be applied to their situation.
In addition to an emphasis on nationally renowned applied research, attendees will hear from representatives from the state's Water Quality Task Force.
