Ag-Bag Sold to RCI Engineering
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 11/27/2019

The Wisconsin-based RCI Engineering has purchased the operating assets of Ag-Bag from CNH Industrial America. As part of the transition, the company's products will be marketed under the name Ag-Bag by RCI.

"We are excited about continuing the tradition of quality, durability and best-in-class performance of the Ag-Bag product line," said RCI Founder Randy Clark. "We are committed to supporting the dealer network, growing the product line to serve future forage needs, and providing premier product support for all Ag-Bag products."

Founded in 1978 by a small group of investors, Ag-Bag began selling Silo Press products made in Germany. Over 20 years later, they purchased the Silo Press business and its patents. The company was then acquired by Miller-St. Nazianz in 2004. That corporation was sold to CNH Industrial America in 2014.

Meanwhile, RCI was formed in 2005 with a focus on hay and forage equipment for commercial operations. They've since expanded into forage plot research equipment for Fortune 500 seed companies, land grant universities, and the USDA. The company also offers engineering and manufacturing services to OEMs of agricultural equipment.

All operations for the Ag-Bag line will be relocated from St. Nazianz to RCI's facilities in Mayville.
