Dado Wins Minnesota Farm Bureau Collegiate Discussion Meet

A Wisconsin native attending the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities is the winner of the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation's annual Collegiate Discussion Meet. Trent Dado of Amery won the competition during the group's annual convention in Bloomington
on Saturday.
Students participated in two rounds followed by a final and were judged on their basic knowledge of critical farm issues and their ability to exchange ideas and information in a setting aimed at cooperative problem solving.
Dado is currently studying animal science at the U of M. He receives a $500 scholarship and an expense paid trip to the American Farm Bureau 's Young Farmers & Ranchers Fusion Conference in Reno, Nevada next February to participate in the national
competition.
Trent was Wisconsin's Star in Agricultural Placement award winner during the 2016 Wisconsin FFA Convention.
