Chip Flory, Willie Vogt to Open 2020 Corn/Soy Expo
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 12/12/2019

Planning is already underway for the Wisconsin Corn/Soy Expo educational sessions and trade show, scheduled for February 6-7 at the Kalahari Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells. Organizers say the event will kick off with an early riser session featuring Chip Flory, host of Market Rally radio at Pro Farmer, followed by a presentation by Willie Vogt Farm of Progress Publications on the technical innovations shaping agriculture today.

Other educational breakout sessions will cover topics like suicide prevention, mobile apps used in agriculture, findings in waterhemp research, water quality issues, soil health and farm succession planning.

On day two, attendees will hear from farm economist Barry Flinchbaugh, who will focus his address on agricultural policy in 2020. A panel discussion on the outlook of the export market will also be held.

As always, the event serves as the annual meeting spot for the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association, Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board, Wisconsin Soybean Association, Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board, and Wisconsin Pork Association.

The annual gathering provides an opportunity for producers to mix business with family time at a popular Wisconsin winter destination.

Registration materials are available online at www.cornsoyexpo.org or you can request information by calling the Wisconsin Soybean Program office at 608-274-7502 or the Wisconsin Corn Program office at 262-372-3289.
