Kavazanjian to Chair USFRA Executive Committee
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 11/21/2014

A Beaver Dam crop producer has been elected to serve as chair of the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance. Nancy Kavazanjian, who has represented the United Soybean Board on the USFRA panel since 2012, was elected to the leadership position this month.

"Our goal at USFRA is to build trust in the way American farmers and ranchers produce food, and this helps to maintain our freedom to operate," Kavazanjian says. "This mission is at the heart of both USFRA's and USB's work."

Kavazanjian farms with her husband, Chuck Hammer, in Dodge County. She has also worked as a staff member of the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association and helps organize the annual Wisconsin Corn/Soy Expo.

The USFRA board is comprised of 18 representatives of affiliate farmer and rancher- led organizations and agricultural industry partners.

Nancy was selected to the USB board in 2010 and serves on its strategic management committee.
