Man Hurt in Vehicle vs. Farm Implement Accident

The driver of a pickup truck was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after he struck the back of a manure spreader being pulled by a farm tractor.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Department says the accident happened Monday evening on U.S. Highway 151 in the town of Oakfield.
Authorities say the man was following too closely to the implement when he collided with it. The tractor and spreader were found to have proper lighting and reflectors.
Reports say the driver was trapped in his vehicle and had to be extricated by first responders. The operator of the tractor was not injured in the mishap.
