Participants Named for WI Pork Mentorship Program
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 02/18/2020

The Wisconsin Pork Association has selected three individuals to participate in its Pork Mentorship Program this year. Andrew Boschert of Beaver Dam, Cole Weinkauf from Waterford, and Eli Magee of Shawano were chosen to take part in the year-long initiative.

Boschert and Weinkauf are both freshman studying Animal Science at Iowa State University. And Magee is majoring in Animal Science with an emphasis in Meat Animal Management at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

The Mentorship Program is designed to expand participants' knowledge of the swine industry through hands-on experiences and job shadows, involvement in pork industry programs, and partaking in WPA activities.

Upon successful completion of the program, the selected participants will receive a $500 scholarship to apply towards their education expenses.
