York Re-Elected as Chairman of WLIC

Board members of the Wisconsin Livestock Identification Consortium have re-elected Keith York from Lake Geneva as the organization's chairperson for a second year. York is the owner of Merry Water Farms and represents the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin on the panel.

New board member Ethan Giebel was elected vice-chairperson. He represents Cooperative Network. Lynn Schultz was elected secretary and Roger Swigart, AgStgar, will continue to serve as treasurer.

Other new members of the WLIC board include Julie Sweney of FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative, Julie Luedtke from CRI/Agsource, and Tod Adams of Allflex. Dan Dishno, representing DATAMARS, was elected to a second term.

Meanwhile, Mike Bourke has retired from the panel and will be replaced by Rob Meier. They both represent Equity Cooperative Livestock.

The WLIC is a nonprofit organization that works to enhance the marketability of livestock and their products through better traceability.
