Snow Damages Machine Shed at Huntsinger Farms

The recent batch of heavy snow around the Badger State is starting to cause more damage to farm buildings in Wisconsin.
Among those affected are the owners of Huntsinger Farms near Eau Claire, which is hosting the 2020 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days show next year.
Farm managers say the roof on one of their 180-foot machine sheds collapsed on Thursday. The structure was full of farm equipment, so no animals or people were in danger.
Contractors have been encouraging property owners across the state to keep their roofs clear of heavy snow, as many older buildings may not be designed to handle the additional weight of the heavy snow.
