Badger Swine Symposium Slated for March 12

The University of Wisconsin-Extension Swine Team, Wisconsin Pork Association and the Pork Checkoff are inviting pork producers and industry professionals from across the state to the third annual Badger Swine Symposium. The program takes place March 12 at the Arlington Research Station.

Organizers say the symposium is planned with a number of state and national speakers on important topics impacting the pork industry, including Nutritional and Manure Handling Innovations, Phosphorous Management, the Impact Feeding DDGS has on Meat Quality, Lessons Learned from PEDv, Phosphorous Solubility and Soils, and Manure Irrigation Study.

Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the program will kick off at 10:00 a.m.

The program will be free to attend, and lunch will be included with support from the Pork Check-Off funds.
