Nilsestuen Legacy Event Addresses Integrity in a Career
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 03/09/2018

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will host the seventh annual Rod Nilsestuen Legacy Event on March 22. The event will feature a keynote address by Bill Boehm, retired senior vice president and officer of The Kroger Companies.

He will talk about honesty and integrity in a career and why it matters.

The forum will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Kinnickinnic Theater in the University Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Nilsestuen, who earned his undergraduate degree at UW-River Falls, was Wisconsin's state agriculture secretary when he passed away in July 2010. He is remembered as a proud steward of sustainable agriculture and a leader in the national cooperative movement who strove to balance the needs of sustainable land use with the maximization of agricultural production.
