Ag in the Classroom Holding National Ag Day Activities
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 03/19/2018

The Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom program is encouraging the state's agricultural community to celebrate National Ag Day, which is March 20.

Among the activities the group will be holding this year include a coloring contest, reading event and social media challenge.

In the coloring contest, students will draw a machine they think could be used on a farm in the year 2050 and then color it. Those drawings can be scanned or emailed by March 27 for the chance to win a package of goodies.

The Ag Day Reading Event encourages farmers, volunteers, teachers and others to read books about agriculture.

And the #WIAgProud Campaign is for farmers and agriculturists to share what they do and why they do it on social media.
