Year-to-Year Egg Production Still Rising in Wisconsin

Wisconsin egg production during February was 170 million eggs, up 10 percent from last year, according to the USDA's latest Chickens and Eggs report.
The agency reports that the average number of all layer hens on hand during the month was 7.11 million, down three percent from last year.
Eggs per 100 layers averaged were 2,384. That was 13 percent more than the previous February.
