Hauke Appointed to National Honey Board

A central Wisconsin honey producer is one of six beekeepers in the nation newly appointed to the National Honey Board.
Douglas Hauke of Marshfield was chosen to sit on the panel by U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue.
The group is made up of 20 board members from across the country who provide a framework for new markets and research. Each director will serve a three-year term.
Other appointees were from Minnesota, Montana, Texas, Arizona and Kansas.
