PSC Okays Two New Wisconsin Solar Farms
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 04/15/2019
Regulators gave their approval last week for two new solar farms to be built in Wisconsin in an effort to boost the state's solar capacity.
On Thursday, the Public Service Commission voted 2-0 to construct the 300-megawatt Badger Hollow project in Iowa County.
The other would be the 150-megawatt Two Creeks solar farm along Lake Michigan south of Kewaunee.
The board's actions allow the two utilities to spend nearly $390 million on two projects, which will more than quintuple the state's current solar energy ability.
