UW-Platteville to Host State Land Judging Contest
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 04/16/2019
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Chapters of the Students in Agriculture, Soils, and Environmental Sciences and the Soil and Water Conservation Society are teaming up to co-sponsor the 51st Annual UW-Platteville Land Judging Contest next month.
The competition will be held May 9 at the UW-Platteville Pioneer Farm.
Each team will consist of a maximum of four members, with the top three individual scores from each site used in calculating total team points. Schools may bring as many teams as they like, but only the top team score from each school will be eligible for team
awards. Extra students may also participate for practice, using scorecards they provide.
Teams placing first through third and the high individual will receive a plaque and individuals placing second through tenth will receive achievement medals.
