Holte Assumes Administrative Roles at WFBF
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 04/17/2015

The president of Wisconsin's largest farm organization will be taking on a little more responsibility at work. The 11-member board of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation has named Jim Holte of Elk Mound as Interim Chief Administrative Officer, following the departure of Stephen Freese from the position.

As part of the announcement, the Farm Bureau said Holte will oversee the management of the group's 25 staff members.

Holte, who has served as president since 2012, raises beef and grows crops on 460 acres of land in Dunn County. He also serves on the American Farm Bureau Federation board of directors.

WFBF provides legislative representation, public relations, leadership development and services to farmers across the state.
