WLBA to Hold Jr. Livestock Show Camp in June

The 2014 Wisconsin Junior Livestock Show Camp is scheduled for June 14-15 at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis. This two-day camp is organized and held each year for youth interested in learning or perfecting showing and fitting techniques, livestock management and evaluation, and meeting new
friends involved in the livestock industry.
This year's beef clinicians are Andy & Leah Mindemann, from Mindemann Farms, Sullivan, WI. The Mindemanns are well-known for having a top-notch and very competitive Angus cattle herd.
Ben Schmaling, a successful Berkshire breeder from Iowa, will be the swine clinician.
Organizers say the program is unique because parents are able attend the camp with their child for a more effective learning experience.
