Marchant Meats Recalls Snack Sticks, Brats

Marchant Meats and Sausage in Sturgeon Bay is voluntarily recalling over 1,900 pounds of snack sticks and bratwurst that contain nonfat dry milk that was not listed in the ingredient statement on the label.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, milk can cause serious reactions in people with an allergy or severe sensitivity. No illnesses have been reported from consuming this product and the products are safe to consume by those who do not have an allergy or intolerance to milk.
Products included in this recall are vacuum-packaged and labeled with the state legend. All products were sold in retail stores and through wholesalers in the Door County area between July 2013 and April 18, 2014.
Consumers who have any of these products may return them to Marchant Meats and Sausage or discard them.
