Wisconsin Ag Connection - 01/12/2018
A 57-year-old woman was killed this week when the vehicle she was driving collided with the back end of a farm tractor.
According to the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Marilyn Ruppelt was driving a pick-up truck on a county highway near Greenwood when she struck the rear end of the tractor, driven by 70-year-old William Kokaly.
The accident happened Wednesday evening in the town of Hendren.
Ruppelt was pronounced dead at the scene. Kokaly was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated with non-life threatening injuries. Both victims were from the Willard area.
Authorities say speed and weather conditions appear to be factors in the accident.
