Wisconsin Potato Board Elections Set to Begin

Wisconsin potato growers have until June 10 to elect three new members to the nine-member Wisconsin Potato Board. One seat is open in each of the board's three districts.
The nominees whose names will appear on the ballot include Keith Wolter of Antigo in District 1; Cliff Gagas from Custer in District 2; and Andrew Diercks of Coloma for the at-large area.
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture will mail ballots to producers. DATCP also will email ballots to those who have email addresses are on file with the market order program.
Ballots must be e-mailed or postmarked by June 10. Elected producers will serve three-year terms beginning July 1.
