Breeders to Hold Farm Tours During National Holstein Convention

Attendees of the 2019 National Holstein Convention in Appleton next month will have the opportunity to tour some of Wisconsin's finest Registered Holstein farms. As part of the annual meeting's 'tour day' on June 25, guests will have the opportunity to visit a variety of operations to learn about different breeding philosophies and enjoy lunch at the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center near Manitowoc.
Farm tour stops include MilkSource Genetics near Kaukauna, Synergy Dairy in Pulaski, Siemers Holstein Farm by Newton, and Hilrose Dairy of Sherwood.
At the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center, the group will see the state-of-the art facility and educational displays covering a wide scope of Wisconsin agriculture from alfalfa to zucchini.
