PDPF Grants Applications Due on June 1
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 05/22/2017

The education foundation of the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is offering money once again to non-profit organizations that have unique ideas in educating consumers about the importance of the dairy industry.

The Professional Dairy Producers Foundation announced that the grants will be awarded to groups that hope to build producer professionalism or maintaining public trust.

"We support educational programs that grow our industry's people and youth and build trust with our consumers," said PDPF Board Chair Edward Strauss. "Education throughout the production chain is the key to keeping our rural dairy communities strong."

Foundation Director Deb Reinhart says the PDPF intends to fund new programs and initiatives that benefit the dairy community from coast to coast. She said anyone with ideas that could use a jump start may apply for a $5,000 grant.

Grant criteria and an application package is available at: www.dairyfoundation.org. Applications are due June 1.
