State Dairy Operations Among WDE's Virtual Farm Tours

Some of the top dairy farms from across the country will be featured in World Dairy Expo's 2018 Virtual Farm Tour program this year. The presentations allow attendees an opportunity to learn about profitable dairy operations without leaving the Expo grounds in Madison.
The tours will be presented in the Exhibition Hall meeting rooms at the Alliant Energy Center between October 2-6. Producers will present a half-hour video or pictorial overview of their farms, featuring everything from management practices and on-farm processing to employee relations and manure management. Time for questions and answers will follow. There is no cost for these tours.
Wisconsin farms in this year's virtual tour series include Blue Star Dairy Farms near DeForest; and Selz-Pralle Dairy by Humbird.
Other North American dairies to be featured are MasCow, Kansas; VanderMade Dairy and FreshMade Dairy, Ohio; Young's Jersey Dairy Inc., Ohio; Rocky Creek Dairy, North Carolina; McCarty Family Farms, Kansas; and Benthem Brothers Inc., Michigan.
