Folk Song Farm to Hold Farm to Table Event Next Week

A Washington County farm family has renovated one of the old barns on their property and is inviting the public to come together for its innual Farm to Table event next week.
The gathering will be held June 23 at Folk Song Farm, owned by Ike and Shelly Mayer of Richfield. Guests will be served a five-course meal prepared by chef Bryan Herther. There will also be guided tours of The Barn, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music
and entertainment.
"After nearly four years of intense restoration, Folk Song Farm is ready to welcome you," said Shelly Mayer. "Our family is extremely excited about breaking bread together with friends and neighbors to celebrate the best agriculture has to offer alongside our
dairy heritage. You'll also meet some of the area farmers and artisans who have raised the meat, grown the produce and crafted the cheese."
