PDPW Holding Dairy Efficiencies Tours

Farm managers who want to see dairy operations known for their margin-focused strategies are being invited to take part in a bus tour next month in northwestern Wisconsin.

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is coordinating the trip on July 17, where attendees will visit Son-Bow Farms of Spring Valley and Alfalawn Farm near Menomonie.

Led by Dave Becker, founding partner in Dairy Business Consulting Group and Steve Bodart, senior dairy consultant with Compeer Financial, the tours will include an in-depth roundtable discussion with owners and managers from the host dairies and their consultants.

Participants will ride on a chartered bus to allow for additional discussions and interaction. The bus will depart from Marshfield at 7:45 a.m. and Eau Claire at 9:45.

Registration includes transportation, guided tours, lunch and refreshments and is limited to the first 50 attendees with priority given to dairy farmers.
