WAAE Honors Rep. Nerison with Special Citation Award

The chairman of the Wisconsin Assembly Agriculture Committee received the State Special Citation from the Wisconsin Association of Agricultural Educators. The group honored Rep. Lee Nerison during its Professional Development Conference in Middleton last week.
Nerison, who serves in the 96th Assembly District, attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison Farm and Industry Short Course. He spent his life working and representing agriculture.
For the past several years, Rep. Nerison has presented at the Wisconsin FFA Day on the Hill program. As the guest speaker, he provides agriculture students with insight and understanding of the legislative process and how to best advocate with legislators.
The WAAE State Special Citation Award recognizes individuals and groups that support agricultural education and the WAAE organization.
