Class III Milk Price Announced at $15.21

The USDA announced that the June Class III milk price was released at $15.21 per hundredweight. That's up just three-cents from May's price, but $1.23 less than June 2017.
So far, the Class III price has averaged $14.41 this year.
The Class IV component price was 34-cents more than last month's price at $14.91, but $1.69 lower than last June.
Meanwhile, the USDA reported that Wisconsin farmers received an average price of $16.70 per cwt. for their milk in May. That was 40-cents higher than last month's price, but 70-cents below May 2017.
