PPA, NCTC Co-Sponsoring Marathon Co. Farm Tour

Attendees of the upcoming Marathon County Farm Tour can expected to see a variety of farm operations that specialize in various types of agricultural production. Co-sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Partnership for Progressive Agriculture
and Northcentral Technical College, the July 19 tour will start at Cattail Organics at 9:00 a.m.
The farm grows organic vegetables, herbs and flowers. The group will then to proceed to Sunny Maple Farm, which makes sunflower oil, honey, maple syrup and also breeds bees.
Halfmoon Hill is the final stop. They have a lamb operation, but also grow berries and make wine.
