State Holstein Show Set for Madison in August
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 07/09/2018
The Wisconsin State Holstein Championship show will be held in Madison on August 19-21. Organizers say heifers will show at 2 p.m. on Monday and cows on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Over 250 head of Holsteins are expected
to parade the shavings.
This year's hosts are working hard to put on a successful show. Aside from the show itself, on Monday evening the host county will be holding the Exhibitor's meal on the show grounds. The meal is a great social activity provided at no cost for all exhibitors and
audience members, and results from the host county's fundraising and donation efforts.
Meanwhile, the Junior Activities Committee will be holding a Judging and Classification Contest. All Wisconsin youth are invited to judge as a team or individual in two different age divisions.
