Dairy Calf & Heifer Conference Returns to Madison in 2019

The Dairy Calf and Heifer Association will host its annual conference in Wisconsin again next spring. The event will be held April 9-11, 2019 at the Madison Marriott West in Middleton to help heifer growers network with one another and share ideas.
Organizers say there will be producer panels, presentations and breakout sessions highlighting heifer-raising economics, milk replacers, biosecurity, genomics and labor management.
"DCHA's annual conference brings together experts that cross a broad spectrum of calf and heifer disciplines," said Conference Co-Chair Sam Gardner. "The conference attracts calf and heifer growers from across North America who are committed to
fine-tuning animal care practices and reaching higher levels of success."
Meanwhile, the forum will also include on-farm sessions and tours.
Custom heifer raisers, dairy producers, veterinarians, nutritionists and anyone with a vested interest in raising calves are invited to attend the conference. For more information, go to: calfandheifer.org.
