Ag in the Classroom Workshop Slated for July 27

The Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom is holding a one-day workshop on Wednesday to help teachers learn more about the science of agriculture. The forum will be held at the John & Melissa Eron farm near Stevens Point from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Coordinators say the program will help attendees identify and acquire free agriculture-focused education resources from a wide variety of sources, while connecting with a collegial group that offers professional support and endless opportunities to share resources, teaching techniques and ideas and networking experiences.

Educators at all K-12 levels, administrators and curriculum directors are encouraged to attend.

The cost is $20 which includes lunch, refreshments and materials.
