Corn Prices Rose in June, But Hay, Beans & Oats Were Down

The June 2015 average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin was $3.48 per bushel. According to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, this was up a penny from the May price, but $1.08 less than June 2014.
Soybean prices were at $9.44 per bushel, up four-cents from May, but down $4.96 from the previous June.
The June oat price was $2.82 per bushel, down 11-cents from the May price and $1.70 below June 2014.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $100.00 per ton in June, down $24.00 from May and $76.00 less than June 2014. The alfalfa hay price averaged $105.00 per ton in June, $31.00 below May and down $80.00 from the previous June. The other hay price averaged $69.00, $17.00 below May and a
decrease of $59.00 from last year.
