WALSAA & Short Course Alumni to Hold Annual FTD Picnic

Alumni members of the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the Farm and Industry Short Course are invited to attend the annual WALSAA Farm Technology Days Picnic next month near Sun Prairie.
The event takes place August 26 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Renk Seed Farms, which is located seven miles north of the FTD site.
The menu includes fresh pork chop sandwiches from Wyttenbach Meats, grilled on-site with Renk's famous secret seasoning. The usual picnic sides along with water, soda and beer will be available.
Several Renk family members will lead guided tours of the newly expanded Renk Seed Processing Facility.
Please register and pay in advance at walsaa.org. Walk-ins welcome, but RSVPs are appreciated as large crowds are expected. Tickets are $20 per person.
