NWTC's Diesel Program Receives National Reaccreditation
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 07/31/2015

The Diesel Equipment Technology program at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College's Sturgeon Bay campus has been re-accredited by the Associated Equipment Distributors. AED sets the industry standard for the skills and knowledge students going into construction related fields should master by graduation. NWTC is the only AED accredited college in Wisconsin and is entering its 11th year as a nationally accredited program.

"With this recognition from AED, employers around our state and the country know our diesel students are prepared to enter the workforce and the key to their success," said Jon Sowl, NWTC Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technician Instructor.

The College offers both a two-year technical diploma and a two-year associate degree in diesel equipment.

Graduates of the programs are equipped to diagnose, service and repair a variety of diesel-powered equipment.
