Crayton Joins Wisconsin Farm Report as Assistant Director
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 08/16/2017

The Fabulous Farm Babe has a new sidekick. Jenna Lee Crayton has been named assistant farm director for the Wisconsin Farm Report Radio Network with Pam Jahnke.

Crayton was raised on her family's dairy, sheep and crop farm in Oak Creek. She served as the 2010 Racine County Farm Bureau Ambassador, 2013 Racine County Fairest of the Fair and is a former finalist for Alice in Dairyland.

Jenna is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point, where she earned a bachelors degree in communications with a double emphasis in interpersonal organizations and public relations. This past May, she also obtained her masters in ag communications from Texas Tech University.

"Growing up in the urbanized area of Milwaukee County showed me at a young age just how removed a large portion of the population is from the agriculture industry," Crayton said. "I took it upon myself to teach those around me about the importance of agriculture and those who work in it. I am so honored and excited to have this opportunity to pursue my passion of telling the story of Wisconsin agriculture."

Jahnke says she's excited to welcome her new assistant and looks forward to welcoming her to her radio audience.

Crayton replaces Bryant Gill who returned to his home county last month to work in the livestock industry.
