Trotter Joins DBA as Business Affairs Director
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 08/20/2014

The DePere-based Dairy Business Association has hired a new director of business affairs. Timothy Trotter will join the group on September 1, where he will be responsible for promoting the growth and success of all state dairy farms by actively encouraging them to modernize and grow.

Trotter most recently served as manager of strategic planning for DuPage County, Illinois. He brings more than 23 years of agriculture and leadership experience to the role.

"Tim is an ideal fit for our organization," said DBA Board President Jerry Meissner. "His background in agriculture is extensive, and his leadership skills are surpassed only by his passion for the industry. He understands the issues underpinning environmental sustainability, responsibility and economic viability."

Trotter previously served as president and chairman of the board for both the National Corn Growers Association and Association for Strategic Planning in Princeton, N.J. He is also the former chief executive officer for Farmers Premium Produce.
