Consider Supporting Ag Education, Leadership on Giving Tuesday
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 11/24/2020

Tuesday, December 1 is Giving Tuesday and the state's largest agricultural group has some suggestions on where people should donate their money. The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation says it's looking to inspire generosity from donors who wish to support agriculture education and leadership programs and activities for years to come.

"This year wraps up our Centennial fundraising efforts to set a strong foundation for our programs that have been developed over the past 100 years, so they remain vibrant for generations to come," said WFBF Chief Administrative Officer Kim Pokorny. "Donations of all sizes have a remarkable impact on the programs and opportunities we are able to offers our members and future agriculture leaders."

The organization has set a goal of raising $100,000 to celebrate 100 years of serving Wisconsin agriculture by December 2020. Rural Mutual Insurance Company has agreed to match all donations ranging from $50 - $10,000, up to a total of $100,000.

Donations made to the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation fund programs like the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Leadership Institute, Young Farmer and Agriculturist activities and Promotion and Education efforts in addition to FFA and 4-H programs.
