Insight FS Awarding $15,000 in College Scholarships

Ten students with an interest in agriculture as their future career choice will be chosen to receive a $1,500 scholarship from Insight FS Cooperative. The company is looking for high school seniors and current college students to apply for the scholarship program.

Dependents of Insight FS patrons and employees are eligible to fill out an application. Applicants are evaluated on academic achievement, active participation in local and state clubs or groups promoting agriculture and environmental stewardship, leadership potential, and essay responses. A satisfactory GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale is also required.

"We've been exceedingly impressed by the caliber of applicants we get every year for our scholarship program," Insight General Manager Dave Mottet. "We feel it is vitally important to support area agriculture and the next generation of leaders."

Applications are due March 15. Payments to the winning recipients will be made at the beginning of the fall 2021 semester.
