FHCW Celebrating First Anniversary of Coop Health Plan

The Farmers' Health Cooperative of Wisconsin will celebrate its first year of success later this week with a special ceremony.
The program, which helps farm families and other self-employed individuals receive affordable health care coverage, will feature Gov. Jim Doyle, U.S. Senator Herb Kohl, Health and Family Services
Secretary Kevin Hayden, Wisconsin Agriculture Secretary Rod Nilsestuen, Senators Jon Erpenbach and Sheila Harsdorf, and the UW Medical School.
The celebration will kick-off with a press conference where the cooperative will share information about its first-year successes and look ahead to new initiatives in future years.
The event will be held March
28 at the Royal Credit Union Corporate Office in Eau Claire.
