New Genex Employees Complete Training Program

Two new employees of Genex Cooperative in Shawano have completed their initial training for artificial insemination in the livestock industry.

Dave Huser will be serving customers in central Wisconsin as a Market Development Associate. He will be responsible for providing A.I. service while also receiving training in support functions for various programs. After 20 years as an owner-operator of a dairy farm, he brings his own industry experience and expertise to the cooperative. Huser holds a bachelor's degree in animal science.

Providing relief sales and service support as a District Services Coordinator is Jim Burkhead of Manitowoc. Burkhead holds a bachelor's degree in agricultural services and development from Tarleton State University in Texas. His diverse experiences on dairies and ranches have given him a solid background for his new position in the A.I. industry.

Genex, a subsidiary of Cooperative Resources International, is a leading suppliers of cattle genetics.
