FarmFirst Dairy Co-op to Hold Fall District Meetings

The Madison-based FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative is in the process of planning its fall district member meetings. The events allow members a chance to gather together to celebrate another year of cooperative successes and look to the year ahead. Attendees will also receive a legislative update, vote in district elections and resolutions in addition to enjoying a complementary meal.

Member meetings are taking place throughout Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

"We look forward to hosting these fall member meetings as it provides a chance for board members and cooperative staff to receive direct feedback from members and to share information on what the cooperative has been doing on their behalf and the industry as a whole," said FarmFirst Board President John Rettler. "This is also a great opportunity for members to meet other producers from their district and to discuss industry news and the latest developments on farm policy."

This is the co-op's ninth season of fall district meetings since the company was created after the merging of Milwaukee Cooperative Milk Producers, Manitowoc Milk Producers Cooperative and Family Dairies USA in late 2012.
