Wisconsin Potato Board Elections Set to Begin

Wisconsin potato growers have until June 10 to elect three new members to the nine-member Wisconsin Potato Board. One seat is open in each of the board's three districts.
The nominees whose names will appear on the ballot include Tom Wild of Antigo in District 1, William Wysocki from Plover in District 2, and Heidi Randall of Cambria in District 3.
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture will mail ballots to producers. DATCP also will email ballots to those who have email addresses are on file with the market order program.
Growers must vote by paper or electronic ballot. Duplicate ballots will not be counted.
Ballots must be e-mailed or postmarked by June 10. Elected producers will serve three-year terms beginning July 1.
