PDPW Holding Farm Crisis Management Workshop in December
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 11/06/2018
The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is holding a training workshop next month on putting together a comprehensive crisis plan for your dairy operation. The forum is part of an ongoing training module of the 'Dairy Visible Voice' leadership
development series, which is dedicated to assisting producers in developing the skill set to enrich their businesses.
Led by Judy Rupnow of MorganMyers, the Crisis Management training will equip dairy farmers and dairy business executives and managers with the business and management strategies needed to enhance a dairy business' response and interaction with the
community and media in time of crisis.
As part of the training, dairy farmers will learn how to identify and rank potential crises and lay a foundation for a crisis preparedness plan. They will also learn what and how information should be communicated during crisis.
The training will be held December 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin office in Madison. Pre-registration is required due to limited space for this training module.
